This tool allows the Distributor to create and publish messages in the News section of the online versions of Microcat LIVE\/V6.<\/p>\n<h2>CREATE MICROCAT NEWS<\/h2>\n<p>The Distributor can quickly and easily create and publish online news messages. You can show rich content, embedded images, videos and also website links. You can even create a library of frequently-used media.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use different font formats to highlight important information<\/li>\n<li>Add media items such as images or videos to grab attention<\/li>\n<li>Set up categories to help arrange your messages<\/li>\n<li>Update your news messages regularly to maintain dealer interest<\/li>\n<li>Preview news messages before publishing to ensure quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To simply create a news message:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Enter the URL and then the user name and password provided by Infomedia.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Posts <\/strong>and select <strong>Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the title that will be displayed in the News section of Microcat LIVE\/V6.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to include items such as images or videos, click <strong>Add Media<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your message text.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to apply a category, select the required category<\/li>\n<li>Save as a draft or preview the message (if required).<\/li>\n<li>When you are ready, click <strong>Publish<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The news message will be displayed for dealers in seconds.<\/p>\n<p>To publish according to a set publication schedule, click <strong>Edit <\/strong>next to Publish immediately and select the date and time, then click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>MANAGE MICROCAT NEWS<\/h2>\n<p>To make the most of Microcat News you need to manage your recent posts and monthly archives by updating news posts, organising categories and deleting out-of-date posts.<\/p>\n<p>Within WordPress, access <strong>Posts <\/strong>and select <strong>All Posts<\/strong>.
